If you obtain permission from the owner, you're good to go.nothing more required

It's better to have it in writing. This way you have proof if you are questioned by a C.O.

I'm no lawyer but i got this goin on in case i ever need it, you wind up with something written down, but not real clear where liabilities lay http://www.bcwf.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=224&Itemid=269

Whenever i gave permission to go hunting it was word of mouth and a handshake out of respect. Whenever, I asked other farmers for permission to hunt on their land it was word of mouth. It is called "respect" and it goes a loooooong ways. Just don't go out with the farmer's daughter b/c if you break up there goes the hunting area.

Finnicky, any one would like you to hunt there, so if there is access, with no private signs, drive on pilgrim

i have two areas where the owners lert me hunt their land.
just spoken word and a handshake.
the CO's have no business in it, its private land.
and both guys tell me to make sure to chase away any intruders on their land.

just don't abuse it and take others with you.
i hunt these areas alone.

co's seem to patrol the private land here more than the crown. which is ok, it is good to know the local co's
