Hey
I am thinking or buying a quad or a Ranger. But before spending that money I wanted to rent on for a week to give it a try.
Anyone know a reasonable priced place I can rent it from
I found 1 for 250 a day.

It depends where you live.

talk to your dealer and see about a demo ride, some dealers will let there demos out for a day or two.like a car i wouldn't buy without a demo

A brief look at "atv rentals bc" and all I can say is "those prices are crazy". OTOH a lot of people won't let anyone ride their machine. It's very easy to lose control and rack up a big repair bill. Quading is a lifestyle choice and it really depends on how many of your friends have quads (unless you're a rancher in which case you'll have one).
If you're planning on buying new then some shops will let you take one for a test drive.
I only have one because my friends have them plus they have a cabin in the Cariboo. I've never ridden it around here since I don't feel like driving a couple hours to a trail head.

When I was looking at buying my quad a couple of dealers were willing to let me take a quad for a day or two.
Ask if you can....the worst they can say is no.

Hmmm. I was looking to take it up to our cabin where we will be for a week...
