Hi folks, lookin for some advice on where to hunt in the osoyoos/oliver area. I see quail all over the place but it seems to be in all the orchards or the wineries. Can anyone tell me where a good spot would be just to walk around with my son and not feel like Im tresspassing on someones property. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and good hunting everyone.

Baldy's a massive area. Might as well say "Hunt Long Island" :D
Tons of Quail on the Westbench in Penticton too, lol. They love the houses/orchards/wineries.
I would ditch the camo, bring your son, and knock on some doors. Some orchards might be happy to let you hunt the sage brush up behind their crops, and you'd feel welcome.
If you plug a bear, (safe and legal) you'd be even MORE welcome!
If you're shy, scope out the valley bottom farms, and find access roads (Cattle ranchers roads) up above/behind them, and go up there. Lotsa Quail and Chukars around there. Get higher up into the firs, and you're into Blue Grouse.
