Lucky 13 and a fun evening with friends

I want to thank Tanya and John for inviting me out with them and Marc last night for an evening goose hunt. It was a blast (pun intended). I had a really fun time and I really liked the layout blinds and having them come right in on us. Very cool. I have to thank Marshall as well for all his hard work too.

Lucky 13 seems to be a popular number these days.

I'm making Tanya's liver patte this morning. Hope I can make it turn out as good as hers. Wish me luck.

Well I made some pulled goose sandwiches for dinner tonight. Turned out awesome!!!

Keep it simple for the slow cooker........

2 onions
1 whole bottle of barbeque sauce
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of montreal steak spice
1/2 can of beer
10 goose legs

Set on low for around 5 hours or until the meat just falls off the bones. Pull it apart and drizzle some of the sauce from the pot put it on some nice buns with homemade coleslaw and potato chips as a side mmmmmm good!
