french river

My brother and I are planning on a moose trip to the french river north of Dease lake at the end of this month. We have a small aluminum boat with a small 8 horse out board motor on it. Does anyone know how fast this river is? Will this setup work for going up it? Any suggestions would be great!

I have the same idea, I heard the launch there is a bit tricking. when are you planning on heading up there. We are planning last week Sept to first week Oct.
