Good hunting, hiway. We often hunt just south of there out of Penticton. The weather is fabulous, the grouse fat and sassy, and the deer plentiful. Pick a spot you want to hunt and spend time scouting. The more time you spend there the more you will learn about where the game is during different times of day and seasons.

I hunted there once, near Chute Lake. Met a lot of nice people from Kelowna. About one every hundred yards. If you like the sound of Elk bugling in the bush you will love it there. Heard about 10 to 20 bugles every 15 minutes, all day long. Must be hundreds of Elk there. Just ask Tom, Dick, or Harry. Their all up there.

I hunt there every year, lots of game. Chute lake for moose, arawana for mule, white tail and greyback for elk. I've taken some nice bear from Smithers area also. Good luck!

they have to go somewhere!! ive heard more "real" elk bugle this year already than last year, couldnt be because ive left the okanagan could it??:-P
