Hi, My not so better half got tired of me reading over his shoulder so he "made" me start my own account. I am told I have to open with a joke well the truth is it wouldn't be funny because I never can get them right. However I was sent this this morning and choked on my coffee while watching it. I hope it will do. WARNING some corse language in the clip.

Congratulations for getting your own account. Plus you have to like a girl who shoots a 45-70

Hey Cedar Cowgirl, I am new here too and also shoot a 45/70. Would yours happen to be a Marlin 1895 or 1895 Guide Version? If so what kind of scope do you have on it if any? I'm just using open sights on mine so far but was considering a scope.

Funny how 45/70 has such a notorious rep. First time I fired my rifle it buggered my shoulder up good enough I couldn't even lift a glass and the second time around the experience was more benign than a 12 gauge with low-recoil rounds. Did you get used to yours as fast?
