Hi Guys

I'm planing this year to go North near Yukon to hunt some Big Moose.
Also maybe look for some mountain sheep and Elk. If Buffalo is allow I will give it a try but looks like is not even on the regulations.
So I was wondering if anybody has hunt that area before and if you recomend it.
Is that more private land or anyone can hunt without a guide?
Reason I ask is that I read that Coal River outfitters has over 2000 miles of hunting land on that region and not sure if is private or open to anyone.
Any recomendation will be much appreciate it.

Howdy, go for it-not privately owned land. Some good size moose in the area and mid to end of September they should be moving quite a bit looking for the ladies that far north.
The one bear picture in their advertising with a river in the background would be the Liard river-I am sure - Coal river is not very big at all.
Not a lot of side roads up in that area but for sure go and try it. Good Luck Later

Changed of plans. We decide to give it a try to Pink Mountain this year. We put Coal river on hold until next year.
Never hunt before to eider one of those spots so the next two years will explore new places.
