Ian,

Vid took maybe 4 hrs to make and around $50.00. It can take hrs going through sound files until you feel you 'might' have a good one ,then start building on the sound file with clips , re arrange ect.

No bow kill AGAIN.....we made it to 20 yrds , bow cam on , big cam behind me , then 'something' happened and we could hear a shale slide wich turned out to be a stampede with both large rams and 8 younger buddies hightailing it.
With extreme forest fire smoke and the 'rumor' of up to 6 or 7 rams shot out of this area it took me .5 of a second to request the rifle on my camera guys back , quick freehand shot at around 100 took the 9 yr old and as well made instant plans to return next fall and try her again with an arrow !
Some guys who are ' arrow or nothing' might scoff at my decision to pull the trigger but 'tummy' was screaming to get er done and in the end it was easily proven a right decision.
3 days and two mountains later we caught up the 11 yr old and 4 hrs later laid hands on him. 78 km on foot total and not another 'shooter' to be found.'Shooter' to our group is either a 10 yr old ram or minimum 8 yr old combo with at least 160" of horn.
We passed on a few full curls toward the end of trip as they just werent 'it' for the trigger....its just too much fun !

well done Steve. Pretty incredible hunting those sheep in that country. We sure are lucky to be able to do it every year for so cheap. Great video, keep em coming!

ahh yes the loaded pack with the curl on the outside- them pix are some of my favourites! good job, can never get all the hard work and energy burned up in a million pix!! lucky to get a sheep with a rifle. a bow all the stars would have to line up- unless you got lots of time to make something happen...

Its a 'Tatonka' pack. Its pretty good , one draw back is a single bag , the rest you strap on the outside . Thing about the 'single bag' is each time I need something EVERYTHING comes out..as Mitch said " there's Steve and his 'explosion' again,lol....
I am still a BIG fan of the 'Camp trails' ( or Alaskan') frame pack myself. During fall I use only the frame and a dry bag strapped to it while blacktail hunting , works great.

thanks for the positive feed back boys !

Great vid and pics... When everything comes together and you smoke one with an arrow you won't even feel that pack you'll be so jacked up.... Well maybe part of that statement is true
