Redfern Nevis trail

Has anybody been on the redfern trail recently ? I am curious what condition the trail to Nevis is in this year. It has been 2 years since I was last in to Nevis and I bet the mud holes are getting worse.

They are getting very bad. The section past the abandoned wagon is enough to make you want to turn around!

It was very dry couple months. mud holes dried up. but road is bad anyway.it is rainy right now. mud is deep and sticky. so would not advise to go that way.
