Is it Legal to Bow Hunt around the Maple Ridge area?

I have the opportunity to bow hunt for coastal blacktail on a buddies property in the Maple Ridge area.

I do not know the municipal bylaws for hunting around there so would appreciate any thoughts?

go to the muni website and also look at the Fraser valley hunting area map to see restrictions. The are some goat bodied deer sporting huge racks but for the most part the people just leave them alone .

Unless they have recently changed the regulations, yes it is legal to bow hunt in Ridge.

Well, I hear every year of a few guys taking bucks in town. Not quite in town, but on the outskirts. Just last year there was a buck that was called in with an arrow sticking in it.
