I just bought myself an angled Vortex Viper HD 15-45x65 and I'm looking for a compact, padded case to protect it while it's bouncing around my pack. I looked at a snug-rug type outfit such as they sell at Cabela's, but that looks like it will take up way too much room.

Any suggestions? Cheers...

Been using a old long hockey stock that the wife cut to fit my Ziess works great quick off + on and protects the spotter just fine
have tryed a few + $$$$ different cases and nothing works as good as the old hockey stock

I had the same problem with my scope. Then I met Marion from Straight line sewing at the Kamloops gun show . She had a scope case custom done for me in a few days. Her number is250 379 2504

Akyne,

Did yours come with the neoprene case from Vortex?

It did, and that's probably enough on it's own, but I was hoping for just a bit more padding and protection for my investment. It is the single most expensive AND fragile piece of equipment in my pack which means that Murphy's Law has a big ol' bulls-eye all over it, and while the Vortex warranty is superb, it does nothing for me if something stupid happens to it in the bush.
