7-39 for sheep or goat?????

Every year i take my old man on a moose hunt. Always a good time and something we both really look forward too. This year we are headed to 7-39 (near thutade lake) where he has had luck before. I love moose hunting but wouldn't mind hiking for a few days and trying for a sheep or a goat. I have done a bit of research and the range east of fredrickson lake and north of johansen looks decent. I know it obviously isn't the best place for sheep and goat but am i wasting my time hiking in there?

My dad and I spent 10 days running around Fleet peak/Wrede range 2 years ago, never seen any sheep, but there was a good number of goats around. cheers!
