Vortex Viper HD or non HD?

im looking at buying a viper online but im unsure if i want the HD or not. what is the diffrence? what would be the diffrence if i went with a HD 15-45x65 over a regular non HD 20-60x80? is the glass in the vipers good enough to see well at 60 power anyways?

I bought the viper Hd last night and then went and looked across a valley and could not have been more impressed, even in the low light. Cannot wait until tonight to find some more places to glass. I plan to take pictures through mine, which was the deciding factor for me. But I tend to buy the best I can afford and live of KD for a couple of months.

nice! what did you go with the 20-60 or the 15-45? do you think the HD helped you see better at low light?

I was impressed with the low light capabilities on the scope. I got the 20-60. I went up behind chilliwack and looked at the mountain across the river, I was able to see exceptionally well until just after the sun actually went down, I stayed another half hour and was still able to see well at the lower power. I am definitely not disappointed.

Thats good to hear because mines in the mail being shipped to me. I to bought the 20-60 hd model
