Band tailed pigeons

Anyone ever hunted band-tailed pigeons ? I would like to give it a try this September. I'm also going to try the Sept 1 bow season for grouse in Region 2.

I am going to give the pigeons a shot this year as well, i see them all over the sides of roads eatting elderberry but i have never had the migratory licence at the beginning of the year, have a few in my yard today eating the seeds out of the horses hay.

Migratory liscense. Check regs for open season.
Find high elavations with virgin timber. When they bust out of a tree they may come back so hold tight there for a while. If there are a few around that didnt see you they may fly up into the same tree. find the trees they like and your gold.
