Summertime Threesome

Just recieved these photos from my cam. This is a natural lick that I located. The Elk hit this hard every night. There is also muleys and whitetails as well , but the Elk take over. Whatever is in the ground here they come here hardcore! It is torn up severely from the repeated digging. I have hundreds of pics from this spot over the last 3 or 4 years. Currently there is one 5X5, four or five 6x6, as well as one 7x7 using it regularly.

nice looking elk! that seven point is very nice with a little bit of abnormals, and a couple nice six's. good luck when the season is here. do you have any pics of elk out of the velvet from the last few years? besides the one bull from the last pic:mrgreen: keep that place secret!! just say its in region nine:grin:

Awesome pics. Do they use it into season at all? Any that I have come across it seems they quit using them about the time Sep 1 rolls around. Here's hoping they stick around a bit longer!!!
