The entire area around Castlebush supports a good Wttail, Mulie.Elk, Turkey and Grouse population with lots of G-Bears and Blackies. The fishing is outstanding and any sporting goods store where you spend a few $$$$ can and will advise you on "hotspots".
Drive to Renata in the summer and to Brooklyn as well as Deer Park, you will soon find spots of your own. The highway between Castlegar and Salmo is also very good.
