Thats a really cool shot of him sleeping.
If you're a proficient elk hunter and know where there are others, he would be a good one to try and hope for the best and 'grow' seeing as he is already patterned, he would be a doozey in a couple years... but he'd also taste great now so good luck either way, no choice is wrong !

Yeah....considered that....but no experience with tree stands......maybe some sort of ground blind....and working in a two person team. Will be camping out the night of Sept 9th ont the mtn top...cheers.

I went to check the game camera this morning (2nd time). There were 634 pictures taken in the last 2 weeks. The 6x7 is still there and I see he has brought some friends along as well. Here's a sample of the photos........enjoy.

We went up over night last night to see if we could find this 6x7....no luck. Checked our game camera while we were there...it had 1206 pics in 3 weeks...lots elk and deer...some ok ones...but not the 6x7.......we did get these three photos of a couple of cougars which I thought were kinda cool ....cheers.

Moultrie 55ir I think. It was the one that had the best reviews. Cost about $120. So far I am pleased with it.
