Bought a new spotting scope the other day . My tripod is a bit shakey, but has all the features that make it usable, and it is light. Does any one have a suggestion on a good quality tripod ?

Go to a large camera store and they'll have a good selection of tripods...

London drugs, the cheapest line of tripods is 40-70$ depending on the size, light and tough. Very affordable, has square legs instead of round.

Ya , got one of those 15x45 Vortex spotters from your store in town. Do you have a summit in stock so i can check it out and compare to what I have?

If you like your current tripod take along a little mesh bag to hang off the bottom. Add rocks to the bag when you set up to glass. The weight pulling down on the unit will help to get rid of your shakes....
