Well here we are. Another season quickly approaching... Not soon enough in my books...
Ill keep this short and sweet...

4 guys, 4 tags, beginning sept 10th thru sept 14th, just outside of smithers... If anyone would be to kind as to suggest a place to stay... Our hunting area is 6-09.. Cabin in the woods would be great, or a simple motel in town... Secondly. Seeing as its early season, a buddys shed simply won't do the trick for hanging... So does anyone know of someone (butcher) who allows for hanging? We won't be there long enough to have it cut as well, so were hoping there's an option out there for us... (Hammings won't do the hang thing... Anything else out there)?

Thanks so much in advance!

Dave

Check out Nadina Lake lodge. Great place to stay. Really nice people. Alsi has a meat shed and hanging pole.

Why not come later in the season? Say the 20th to the 24th. Moose will be more active then too. Start of the rut!

I think the smithers sausage factory' will hang moose. Check out accomodations in Telkwa, there's a few there that might work for you and some good hunting grounds along the coal mine and high road.

Its right on the border of 6-4 and 6-9. I've had the 6-9 draw twice and hunted the GOS another 5 or so times. Left side of main road in is 6-4. Right side is 6-9. Good to have your maps handy though.
