My heart was pounding and my mouth was dry just from watching it.

I guess all the best hunting shows have 2 parts:mrgreen:....although I see The Professionals has taken it to the next level with a 3 parter on Mongolia. Great so for!

Part 1 was unreal!! One of the best told hunting story's I've seen. When the buck finally looked at him at 22yds and all the dramatic music stopped and all you could hear were the crickets...I seriously just about crapped myself! Eagerly awaiting part 2!!

Aw c'mon guys. Cody's buck is just a fawn compared to what Jelly claims to have!

I did enjoy the show.

Ya it was pretty cool to watch Cody's hunt on DVD ...Then see the lifesize Mount at Marco's studio at Sugar Creek Taxidermy. Cody missed out on Huntfest and everyone else got to see his deer before him...He went and got hitched with Kelsey the same weekend.. He sure does shoot some hawgs every year and is a very good Hunt'n Show producer , one of my Fav's for sure .

LOL...ya Cody still hasn't seen the mount. I was telling him how good it looked...just to rub it in a bit. He said he's hoping to run out and get it this week.

That is what hunting shows should be all about. There is no faking the emotion going through that whole group of hunters. Just awesome.

Probly my fav hunting show. I hate the polished crap on wild tv. these guys are for real. you could hear their voices shaking after the shot was made. Real life stuff, it's great.

That deer looks like it was farm raised to attract hunters to a t.v. show.

Well, of course it's farm raised. Most of Sask. is a farm!

It's an awesome, awesome deer, taken fair chase. And nothing but congratulations are in order.

Spent some time with Cody and Kelsy after the Huntfest show in Onterio.... Refreshing change to talk with just another regular guy that loves what he does. One hell of a deer too!

loved the hunt loved the footage and can only dream of a deer near that one one day, but the shot, before I saw him take that shot I would never have tried that, but put a deer like that in front of me after hunting for it for a couple weeks, and I am sure I would have tried that as well

Is there any official score to go with this buck? Everything I can find is guesses.

Yes theres an official score. It grosses 292 5/8" and nets 288'' P&Y after the 60 day drying period. That is with the velvet on

hmmm saw part deux last night must have been SOME pressure that thing means ratings and $$$$ and of course the personal satisfaction of the accomplishment AND putting Kelsey up a tree..lol

Marco did a great job...and I still think Billys shows are better IMO..and Shockeys shows are high quality..the Pofessional..remember when the guide rolled the side by side whith Shockeys DAUGHTER in in Eva...and they aired that too pretty tense..

great buck Cody..Great taxi job Marco truly artistic..

Unbelievable deer and a great show. The emotion/excitement were clearly evident in their voices and faces. Like someone else said, I like this show because it is just regular everyday people doing something I would love to be able to do for a living. It's too bad a few are trying to take away from the accomplishment by suggesting it somehow wasn't fair chase......the guy spent 8 weeks tracking/scouting and hunting this thing. Totally deserved.
