I was out scouting blacktail spots, and found a old logging road that hasn't been used in years. It starts at a low elevation and goes to the top of a mountain. The whole way up there was a thick trail of deer hair down the middle of the road as well as spots with rubs. My question is has anybody seen this before, did i find a deer super highway or migration route or could one deer leave that much hair along a road?

Sounds like someone was there before you and dragged a deer out after they shot it, maybe last season before the snow...?

That could be possible that someone dragged a deer out before, but it looks like it was just shed off on a well used trail.

Deer are just finishing shedding there winter coats so sounds like it is well used trail.Go back during hunting season and see what happens. There is obviously deer there so should be good.
