Just thinking of selling my Swarovski SLC 10x42 binos and my Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60 spotting scope. They are both about 10-12 yrs old. The binos are in good shape with only minor marks on the black rubber and faded paint around the Swarovski writing. The lens are in good shape. The spotting scope is in even better shape as it has only been used about 10 times in the field. Both come in the original boxes with straps and cloth cases from the factory.

I am curious what they would be worth if I was to sell them? I have seen used binos in the store range from $1000-$1200 depending on the shape they are in.

I have not seen a used Leupold spotting scope locally but the new ones run about $1000 Canadian before tax and the HD runs about $1200 before tax. I am thinking maybe $700 range. Of course more is better. haha.

If I can sell them both for a good price I will be buying a new pair of the Swarovski EL 10x42 rangefinder binos. I have seen one local pair for around $3150.

your prices seem pretty fair, $1000-1200 for the binos and $600-800 for the spotter would make sense

The price might be fair, but I think you may have trouble getting that much for 10 year old SLCs. In 10 seconds of searching I found brand new Leica Trinovids (comparable binos) for under $1200.00

I would bet the spotter will sell quicker than the binos at the prices you are hoping to get.

You might be right. I was thinking if I could get $700 for the spotter and $1000 for the SLC's it would be my best case scenario.
