This is what I was thinking, what other site or have I missed something or is it a bunch of people who cant play in the sandbox together needed to get their own sandbox?

you nailed it right on the head. Its a bunch of the ones formerly of HBC that were 'removed for conduct unbecoming of a...hell, just about anything'....that created their own site.
