They have gone to set dates for most openings now,for example deer on the island will always open on Sept 10th now, does not matter what day it falls on.

The bow season for deer on the Island opens August 25th. Same as last year. Check regulations (page 29) for details!

Grouse actually open 5 days earlier this year. August 20th.
