I think any of the major brands make good products. It really depends on what you are after. If you only intend on sitting in it for a few hours here and there, a smaller portable stand may be all you need. If you want to sit from pre-dawn till dusk, something with a bigger seat and a bit more wiggle room really makes a huge difference. How are you going to get in it? Tree steps/climbing sticks/ self climber? Don't forget to price out a safety harness. Both these items can easily add allot of $$$$. If you know you will be putting it and leaving it in a secure area where risk of theft is low and acess is not to bad, maybe a ladder stand will work.

Well it's about a 45 min hike back in the bush. There is a good game trail. I will only be using it for the first week of September. I plan on being in it all day. So I would like something comfortable. I don't think any one will find it it's way back in the bush.

There are a number of things to look for when purchasing a treestand. But rather then list them all here I'll provide you with a link (http://www.othmarvohringer.com/hunting_tips/articles/Tresstand%20Hunting%20Essentials.html) to an article that covers this topic perfectly and should answer all your questions.
