What is the standard percentage you should give?

Going on a guided ocean fishing trip and am wanting to know how much of a tip to give the guide. Or is it bases on the total trip cost? Thanks for any help you can give

I guided salmon and hali for years at a fly in lodge, I was happy with$100/day. That was a few years ago mind you......Don't tip out of obligation though, gotta be a good guide!

If the guide is a dick, tip nothing. If he is a good guy, but not catching much we usually do $50. If he takes you out for an extra two hours so you can limit out then $100 for sure.

Depends on how much you learn? catch or not... i think $100 a day is good
