Where to find a rosey in sechelt

Well my girlfriend wants to go explore the sunshine coast for the weekend which i dont really want to do (id rather go fishing with my buds) but to make the best of it I wouldnt mind checking out some elk over there if i could. I know people say "just go to the golf course" but both my gf and I like to hike and walk so somewhere a little scenic would be cool. Any pointers on where to go would be awsome it would make it way better than going to a beech front resturant:-P

In Sechelt, the golf course is your best bet, or go bushwhacking in the forest on the South and West sides of it. If you want to go for a hike I would suggest to head up the Malaspina Substation just past Pender Harbour. More elk, less people.
