Bose lake

Good morning everyone! I just picked up a bushranger 250 tent and we want to go put it to good use! I haven't been camping in a few years and always liked the Bose lake area, has anyone been up there in the last while and could you tell me what conditions are like? Are there still camp sites and how is the access, I do have a 4x4. Or is there any other sweet little gems you guys and gals care to share........

I haven't been to the lake itself for some time ,however I know there was some very recent logging in that area .

Access should be fine if you're coming off the highway. The road is bumpy but accessible with a two wheel drive. If you go exploring to the southeast see if you can find Copper and Spud Lake. Use Google Earth and see if you can find Allen Meadows for some great caddis action this time of year. It half way between Bose and Tunkwa as the crow flies.
