IBTL, :)

You said trespass, so the HBC Saints are gonna be all over you.... Unless that means something different down in the US...

Probably means you hunt property where you need permission. Did that in Alberta.

Depending where you are you still need a tag. I hunted Montana in 2000 and I had drawn a tag and had permission to hunt a chunk of land that Government pays the landowner to provide access (no charge to me).

One day I went for a drive and stopped and asked at a number of properties for access to see if I could hunt different land. Answers ranged from, they did not allow hunting, they had already leased their land to an outfitter and others said there was tresspass. The going rate for a trespass fee was $300 for three days of hunting. One guy told me he managed his property for trophy animals and I could not afford.

Other states actually give landowners a few tags and they can do what they want with it. So you could phone up a rancher and pay a set fee to hunt as a tag is included. No need to enter the draw in these states if you are willing to pay. I have seen some of these advertised for close to $1000. For some of the better states and areas $3500 gets you a guided hunt for 3 days with a guarenteed tag.

Did a Wyoming trip in 2010. Great time. Look for the thread in this forum. (2010 Wyoming antelope).
