Deer Hide Question [Archive]

Hello everyone,
I shot my first buck on Nov 7th and returned home on the 8th,,since then the hide has been hanging in my garage.I have decided to take it in and get it tanned,is there anything i should be doing to the hide before a take it in ? Can anyone recomend a good place in the Langley Abbotsford area for hide tanning.

Very reasonable price especially for members of huntingbc. I'd take the hide to him asap.
