Taxidermy near abbotsford

Hi everybody I got a bear hide I want to get tanned from this past spring. Does anyone know where a guy can find a reasonable rate around abbotsford. Just tanned not done up into a rug or anything. My first colour phase but its only 5'2'' so I dont want to go all out on a rug. Also how long is it ok in the freezer before I take it in to taxidermist? I have heard a couple months up to 6 months but not from a reliable source haha.

It will still be fine provided it was good when you put it in the freezer. Go to Ray Weins, I have had him do rugs and just tan hides and they all turned out great. Really good guy and a HBC sponsor, here is his web site, he is in aldergrove- http://www.rwtaxidermy.com/ Congrats on the first bear.

My buddy is a trapper and says the hide is good up to 2 years in the freezer before heading to a taxidermist..
