LEH Discrepancy

Any one check their Leh draws on line to be told they didn't receive anything only to have a draw arrive in the mail? Had it happen this year........since then checked the status on line and it has been changed to successful but it sure wasn't saying that when l first checked.

Heard of that before. Nothing online....Results came in the mail....right into the recycling.......then someone suggested that they double check. Dug out of recycling and they had drawn Ashnola sheep and another species that I can't remember.

Same thing happened to a friend last year - online said he had no draws but in the mail he got a hard to come by grizzly draw.

I don't think they are mailing out NIL notifications anymore, so if you get something in the mail, you better open it! :)

Makes me wonder if when you put your hunter number in the box and get the unsuccesful notice does that mean you actually entered and didn't get any draws or could it appear because they just didn't receive any entries from you this year? Just by putting your hunter number in the box and checking does that quarantee you were in the draw but unsuccesful? Or could any hunter number of a person who didn't put in for any draws still come up with "unsuccesful" instead of "no entries received" or some other answer. The reason I ask is with no nil letters coming in the mail any longer one always has to wonder if your entries ever really made it in the draw!

Happened to my dad 2 years ago, said no luck online and when mom picked it up she opened it and he was drawn for a moose draw, she called and told him and at first he didnt believe her, telling her " i checked online, dont lie to me and get my hopes up."

and that is why going electronic would be the way to go. fill your card out online, pay online, get a reciept on line. And if people with no credit card went into the store like we currently do,,,,, it would give you the option. And 80% would do it online so the lag time would shorten up.

Buddy of mine got NIL online last year for moose, but then a moose authorization showed up in the mail, so it does happen

Not exactly a discrepancy - but when the letter came though we got 2 authorizations for our moose LEH! Online only showed the one.

I put in for a Moose and an antlerless Mule deer. The LEH notification I got said No Moose for you! But the bottom half said I got the antlerless Mule deer.

Got mine in mail yesterday. Yes for my antlerless elk in 4 08 zone c. Yes for any bull moose in 7 25. Those were both the same as online. No for my antlerless mule deer in 8 05 but I thought that was a long shot. Online this one was not mentioned:?: Of the guys I hunt with 2 got nothing and 1 got a cow draw so with immy and calf opening we are looking pretty good.

I did that and it said Goat. Then I remembered that wasn't my LEH, that was my bank Account number!

Yep. Just got the authorization in the mail on Friday; couldn't believe it, because I had given up after checking online and being told no luck. Maybe someone cancelled theirs and they drew me; they do that, don't they?

What I read online is what I got in the mail. Unsuccessful for antlerless elk 4-06 zone c, unsuccessful for any bull moose 4-06, successful for mountain goat 4-06 zone A. One out of three isn't bad and it being my first time to try for goat I am very pleased.

Im betting that peeps are makin typos when they check online. Human error is more likely than a comp error, unless the gov is somehow redrawing a few tags for one reason or another after the results are posted
