Well I'm 50 50 for my leh draws. I applied for moose and elk, and you already know the results. I got the antlerless elk in 7-20 A. The season starts December 1st and runs through February 28th. The draw is good for privet and crown land.
This will be my second elk hunt. My first elk hunt was in the Kootney's and lasted all of a 1/2 hour opening morning (another story). On my buddies LEH. He tagged a very respectable first elk 7X8 scoring 351 7/8.
Any advice would be appreciated, area to look and if anyone is willing to give out any contacts as well. There will be me and my hunting buddy as well as my none hunting son-in-law, who wants to learn how to hunt.
