I was visiting a friend and heard that Tom Moss passed away in May 2012. Tom was the inventor of Tomic plugs. I used his plugs when I used to salmon fish out of Poett Nook. My friend knew him well and used to test his plugs on his commercial fishing boat. I owned a video that told some of the techniques on how to fish his plugs. It was done by Tom and his son Wayne I believe. I wish I still had that video. RIP Tommy.

Certainly KNEW his stuff when it came to fishing for the Biggies!
I hope he finds the seas are flat & the fish are Huge and Forever Hungry on the other side...
RIP Tom

We caught alot of salmon using Tom's Tomic plugs, mostly springs, back in the 70s and 80s. I was always like a kid in a candy store picking through all the different color plugs to try fishing at PNT and Reddon Net. It was the highlight of my time fishing the WC of the Island, catching those springs on the plugs...Thanks Tom

Still have some of those killers plugs...

I've used original Tom Moss Tomics to catch literally dozens of Tyee up to 50 pounds. I also had the pleasure to meet Tom in the mid 90's and he struck me as a true gentleman.
Tight Lines.
RIP Tom.
