Wood River Elk 4-40

rumour has it there is elk in the wood river area of 4-40...has anybody actualy hunted or seen them there? not realy interested in going there to hunt more just curious about this than anything..

Seen the tracks about 4 years ago in there. Know of a guy that picked uup a set a sheds as well. Pretty sparse.

realy! when you saw the tracks could you tell aprox how many or cow/calf/bull?

Looked like a couple cows/calves, it was spring. Last time it was flown for moose there were no elk spotted. Have a buddy who has been up there working aall spring and hasn't seen any elk sign.
