I am just starting out in this endeavour right now and have pretty much got the double and single duck sound down pretty good
I sold a couple to guys for that used them last season for $25 and they seemed to like the results
I used the double duck myself last season and had great success on turning them back as it is quite loud and sounds raspy.

the guts for the calls themselves I am buying right now and turning out the bodies on my lathe
I buy the mylar for the reeds and cut and trim them myself to tune them
I also dimple the 14 mil reed myself on the double ducks

I have a jig on order that I will use for more custom work that will enable me to make my own toneboards
Those type of calls would be a little more cuz they are more work.

Just experimenting right now with the goose calls and the couple I have made seem to sound pretty good
They would like go for $30

I found a cool website before with components for duck calls. I was really impressed with their metal bands or whatever their called. I'll try to find the website when I get home from work
