How do you fellow hunters do for hunting whitetails in Region 3? Took the family camping to Marble Canyon. Went up through the Duffy. Also went to Cache Creek and Ascroft. Only deer we saw along the way were whitetails.

I've never really spent anytime in region 3 specially for hunting. Might have to have a few more camping/scouting trips to find a honey hole or two.

You mean Mulies right. The only deer you saw were mulies. Those areas may have some WT but 99% mulies for sure. I think you are wrong on your deer ID Provider. Been looking at too many blacktails maybe.

Hey, you never know. I have done the Squam-Duffy-Marble to Kamloops countless times in the last 12 years and I have never seen a WT. Mulies everywhere. You may be right though.

Two does made us practically stop on the highway. I did some mulie country shed hunting but wasnt lucky enough and the gf and kids were getting eaten alive by misquitoes. Found countless bones and one antlerless dead head

I saw a number of does last year when I was in the Loon Lake/Tunkwa Lake area. They're there.

Lots of WT in reg. 3 for sure, no one is doubting that, especially around Logan Lake/Tunkwa area. Good luck seeing a big one there, they love to hide in that thick beetle kill. I just didn't think there were many that far west over Lillooet way yet. Thats real mulie country out there. Never had a look at one around there and I spent lots of time there.

Behind Batchelor Hills on the N Shore of Kamloops up by LacDuBois has nice sized whitetail deer.
Plus Logan Lake.

I've shot 8 whitetail bucks in reg. 3 in the last 18 years. One day it seems they're everywhere then nowhere. In pockets if you find some in a area hunt that area. I've shot them in 3-17,18,19,20,27 and 29.

I've seen 2 whities that would score in 150-160 range and could have shot them but I was not patient enough and had already shot my reg 3 whitetail buck Most of my bucks small 3+4points.
