Hello all,
I am mucho excited, I am always like a kid on Christmas eve before I head up country. I am heading up to region 5 tomorrow to the 100 mile area primarily to help out on an LEH Moose hunt (2 buddies have tags) and to try and get a buck. I didn't get one when we hunted 5-14 earlier around thanksgiving but filled my doe draw. If we get lucky early in 100 mile we will likely jump over to 5-14 to do some dedicated deer hunting. Will be back next week with a report, wish me luck.
Is the snow hanging around in 100 mile? Looks like it's been pretty mild, hopefully it will cool off a bit and give us another skiff of snow. I have heard that people have been seeing good numbers of Moose but we shall see. Some other friends just got back and they couldn't believe the amount of Wolf and Grizz sign they saw in the area, more than they ever remember.
