Some of you guys may have seen this video already, but apparently this guy takes a moose down at over a kilometre. When he zooms out, it looks as if it could be in that neighbourhood. Impressive if so! Though being a new hunter, I'm curious as to how you seasoned guys feel about taking such a long shot. I'd assume there are some ethical issues? I'm not trying to stir up crap or anything, I'm just curious to hear your opinions.

well my opinion is if youve practiced at those distances and your confedent with your shot at that distance ..let er fly ..

last year i posted i shot a moose at 640 yards and you wouldnt believe the shit storm that started ..
