Been up and down that road so many time it's not funny, but never the once have I seen goats. I know they're not far as the crow flies, maybe they're spreading out?

Can't help you out but I did see for my first time a Nanny with two little babies just outside Summerland in their usual spot. The babies were pretty cute little buggars.

Very cool. Never seen one on that route in all my travels, sure does look like goat country though. Especially near the Dry Gulch area

Was along the "Coke" last thursday and I was thinking about the possiblilty of Goats where you said. Looking west from the Upper Coldwater road on the Coke , Chamois mountain looks to be tall enough, and cetainly could have Goats. There's still lots of snow up in the hills there as well, so maybe they haven't moved higher yet.

Last week I counted 7 just off the coke, on my way up to my favorite bear spot. Only about 10 Min out of hope. Sadly they are never open in that area to hunt.

Have seen them there a few times. You would be amazed how many place in the lower mainland and just up the coq hold goats. I work in the bush so I am lucky that I get the time to look for things while at work. More than a few I time I have looked p from my chainsaw to spot a goat down low in the trees during winter and up on the faces in the summer.

My dad has a picture of a goat on the west face of Cheam. He had hiked to the summit, and was looking over the edge and saw a white speck way below, turned out to be a goat.

I Was up there Friday and my son ask me if there was any goat around there and I said no, I'm going to have to tell him I was wrong :( good to know. I'm going to keep an eye on for them for now on.

Right on, I'll have to keep an eye out next time Im headin that way.

Funny how they seem to always pop up where you least expect them, had a buddy get a photo of one on the back side of Layer Cake Mountain across from Gallaghers Canyon in Kelowna.

Saw 2 billys just below the snow shed 2 years ago in November. Watched them from the side of the highway for a while. One billy was a cranker. I've seen about 3 other goats further up on top in the hills as well. I have a friend that lives by kawkawa lake and says he can see goats from his kitchen window once in a while

I know practically nothing about goats so forgive my ignorance, but could they perhaps be migrating from elsewhere?

Historically they've been there.
