I'm heading into the Kianuko via the Sanca FSR in July on a scouting trip/test new gear trip just wondering if anyone has hunted in there and if they wanted to share any tips. I would like to have gone in just on a hiking trip this weekend but with the rain and the snowmelt I figured it would be too wet to really do much. This fall I plan on hunting quite a bit in there for extended weekend trips and overnighters looking for mule deer, elk, and mountain goat(if I get extra lucky and am drawn). From what I have managed to glean off hiking blogs/sites, google maps, and friends who have hiked in there it's an incredible place to go and less than 50km from home. So if anyone has been in there to hunt and wants to share their experience, I'd be grateful. No need for your honey hole locations just general information on the park itself, especially the northern access into Haystack mtn.
