4033Me and my 6 year old took this nice colored bear, it was on day 16 out of a 20 day hunt she was pretty stoked that she could miss school and join Dad!

Well here is goes careful the spelling is bad .lol. We went up north with 21 days off we hunted hard for the first 8 days seeing a few bears but nothing really worked out for us so i thought we put hunderds of km on the quad and no bear down besides the cranker black my partners kid got and 5 wolfs between us so we swicthed to the jet boat to try and get into some non hunted areas so that day me and beno headed out for the day. Then on our way back to camp Beno spotted this bear digging up roots on the flat of the river bed and then the hunt was on she was pumped up that dad was going to try and shoot this bear she spotted ,cant lie i was jacked up to so out of the boat we go we had about 600 yard to cover the stalk was on we cut though the bush and were we come out was only 90 yards from the bear and then the rest is history Beno has now been on some pretty big hunts G-bear ,52 inch moose, and a 6'7 bown color fase 19 inch skull and a few deer, i Tell u in her mind she cant turn 10 soon enough lol.

What a beautiful cape, what will you do with the hide? I say full mount. Looking at a lot of bears and trying to guess sex I would guess and say it is a sow? I just got back from 14 days of hunting the same bears and learning more about identification is something I could use. I am now 50 days in of grizzly hunting and have yet to shoot one! Good for you in pulling it off!

Congrats on the bear! Great pic with the little gal! Had my 17 yr old daughter out last night for her last day of spring b. bear hunting. Came across 3 grizzly instead! Crossing our fingers one of us get the grizzly draw!!
