Are these prices in Euros? This is crazy. I feel like I was under a rock for ever, because I never would expect to pay this kind of money for a tent these days. Even if they are ultra light of sorts.

Nonetheless cool tent, hope it works for you great.

I'm not smart enough to do currency exchange calculations in my head, but I found the $USD prices at Hilleberg.com

The way I look at is, the last time I bought a tent was like '91, I paid $425 for it, and it has literally been to hell and back. At 7.5 lbs and 21 years old, it was time to upgrade.

The Hille was $720 and being that I'm going to the states in a week, it's getting shipped to my Hotel. I save the tax, duty, and shipping was free, so that's all the "nudging" I needed.....:-D

I've been very happy with mine it is a great product. Worthwhile setting it up a time or two when you aren't in a rush just to get the hang of it. Maybe not in the hotel room though, the stakes aren't that tough.

Too funny.....

I'm actually looking forward to having a tent that sets up all at once, instead of in 2 stages, especially in snow and rain. The huge vestibule for shitty days is gonna be a welcome addition as well.
