It is very nice that a hunter can put the best tasting meat that you can get onto the table what a treat and I thank the lord for giving me this fine game birds and elk to eat :-D,a person can not get any better tasting meat then this :-D..

Grouse I had on Tue night with a glass of wine and a nice salad.

Elk I had last night with a salad and glass of wine the roast was in the crock pot on low heat for 8hr just fell apart when I ate it yum ,yums...

Nothing better than all the meals a guy can create and enjoy throughout the year!! Makes a person remember all the hunts when you're enjoying cooking a big steak on the bbq....mmmmm

You bet! Great looking presentations. Similar to meals prepared in the outdoors, meals prepared from foods, including the various meats, that one personally harvests not only seem to taste better, but are enjoyed more as well.

Both dishes look great. I love that mushroom gravy on elk plate, though I see some mushroom on the side with grouse as well. Also, it looks like the glass of wine is already gone in both cases before meal was started ;)
