Hedley red bear.

the Hedley area has mostly cinnamon black bears, this one is little darker but still has a lot of red.

anyhow dropped him this morning, now in freezer. :-D

the story.

parked the truck 500 yards away, turned off the ignition watched him for 2mins, got out of the truck and put the magazine into the rifle, then proceeded to slowly to walk towards him, got within 100 yards, the bear started to walk towards me, when he got close to me, i shot him under 30 yards ..... a little close, but worth it for a easy shot.
