This game cam stuff is fun. Like Rod&Reel fishing, you sit around, do nothing, and occasionally check to see if anything's bit :)

I took a Brown phase from this area a couple weeks ago, and have seen two more while scouting.

Hard to tell from that angle but I say colour phase, I don't see any sign of the grizzly hump.

I'm going to keep pretending he's a grizz. makes things more exciting when i'm creeping down that trail at dusk :)

Grizzlies aren't camels, hard to see the hump, if there is one, from tha angle. Probably a Black bear but not 100%.

Light on the back darker legs... G-Bear colours

However I wouldn't be surprised if it's a b-bear

I agree thats what I see a grizz but from the pics, very hard to tell, may be a b-bear, hard to tell about the hump as it is such an ackward photo taken of him, head down unable to tell.

I'm thinking nice color phase blackie, one that I'd like to pass an arrow through! On the other hand I have seen a few Grizz with similar color patterns but they were a bit darker on the legs.

Looks like a hump to me. Not a common colour for a black. Could be a Grizzly.

grizzled hair. thgeres a hump. hard to see it from this angle. but i woukld say 100% grizzly.
my two cents

also another feature that tells its a grizz is the highest point on a black bear is over the hind legs. now the fact that it is sloping down near the rear end would confirm to me that it is indeed a grizz

maybe thats a bit harsh to say. i do believe that everyone would wait for a better view on this bear.
also this bear has his head down and the is still a hump visible

Ya if u zoom in on the pic u can see a definitive hump it would be nice to see a side profile

The angle of the picture makes it tough to identify, but going on color I would say grizzly. Are grizzly's common in the area where the picture was taken. If so I would go with griz I have seen many with light tops and dark legs.

I think most guys and gals, if not all, wait until they get a look at the head before letting em have it.

A slight indication of a hump does not make a Grizz
Especially when it has it's head down

Came across the bear yesterday, was heading in to check my cam and nearly ran him over on my bike coming around a corner. still not 100% on ident as it bolted into the bushes very quickly, but quite sure it's a black bear. VERY tiny bugger, must be his first year away from mom. Bright Blonde in the sun, great looking critter. Cam had some interesting stuff on it, another blackbear, and this bruiser:
