Just returnted a few days ago from our annual bear hunt. My father had a grizz tag but we didn't have any luck in that department. We did manage to harvest two black bears as they were plentifull. This trip was full of challenges as there were many avalanches crossing the road. We spent many hours building trails across them just to gain access to our area. Here are a few pictures and a video link that tell the story. The blacks squared 5'9" and 6'2".

Lil bit of a rookie here, were you cutting the ice for braces so you could get the quads over more easily?

Great video and hunt thanks for sharing. Tracks would have saved you a ton of hand work building trails, but I hear it builds character :-)

I did use the snow blocks on the low side of the trail to make it more level

Too bad you dad didn't get a shot at his grizz but a couple of nice blackies makes it a good trip. Looks like you had to work for them. CongratsHH

This kind of a hunt is what makes a person keep going back year after year getting back into your animal and getting back out is what part of hunting is all about ,nice bears and nice footage thanks for sharing..
