mountain goat hunting 2-12 powell river area

hey every one so im planning on trying for a mtn goat this year iv wanted to try for one for a wile.
what is the best time sept or oct i got sept 1 to oct 31 i was thinking sept 10 then i can hunt deer and bear with firearm
on the way up.walt lake,apha bette gamma lake,emma lake and the freada mountain area are what im thinking annyone have pics from powell river to give me an idea of the areas ill be hunting.last question i bought a 300wsm will the be a good cal for this.
any one give me advice

Hunting goats in Powell river area is fun but most places are hard to get to as hey are growing up. I have been Lucky enough to have take a few goats from here. The weather is to good at the early season and foggy near the end but that is the best time I think. Good luck
