Hope the folks are happy about the wolf season in region 8. If you're so inclined maybe fire Minister Thomson a quick thank-you note. This has been a long standing request and no one prior to that had the gumption to trip the proverbial trigger.

Oh and a few other changes to the elk in R4 and WOlf in R8 are pretty cool too!

Awesome thanks! Do they really need to put so much advertising in the regs? It just scatters all the info, and the cost of the license and tags arent exactly cheap, you think they wouldnt need to advertise on 20% of the regs

I am excited for the new elk seasons, (I wish there was a region 8 bow elk season) and the region 8 wolf season not that I think I will kill a wolf but at least I can now

For those of you with a capable mobile device, I find it handy to go to http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wildlife/hunting/regulations/ and download the section(s) I want and then upload them to my phone. A little hard to read on a phone, but still manageable.

Take a closer look at the regs. The first column is for this season 2012-13 the second column is for the 2013-14 season. No mistake.

I wonder if they time it this way on purpose. LEH submissions end, before they release the regular regs. It would have been nice to have it out so that one could match up the GOS to some limited entry hunts.

You're better off saving the PDF from the web site and viewing it in iBooks. Then you can take advantage of other iBooks features like search or landscape orientation.

You're missing where the typo says sept 1 2012 to sept 9 2013. A Full year. typo, but I'm sure they'll say a revision shortly once its picked up.

Not sure if they do it on purpose, or it's just overlooked as to how convenient it would be for us to have them. I know next year we will have the them, and it was nice to have them last year... I guess it is better every other year than never.

Whatever the regs will bring I will be waiting for them to pick up and adjust my hunts to fit my needs when I look at them..
